They are more expensive because they have quality, and quality is important. In other words, the art of luxury advertising in the present day is being able to take the luxury items and make them more mainstream so that individuals can be exposed to them. These might be people who otherwise would not have been aware of them, but they are still buyers. Some companies are still resistant to this strategy, but making luxury items mainstream is a great way to help them expand and sell more easily.
